"Mumma! Mumma!" A little four years old boy shouted before his mother's lifeless body.
His tiny palms patting her cold cheeks with tears streaming down his chubby cheeks.
"Mumma, look your ayu is crying. Please open your eyes. MUMMA!!" He shouted loudly and sobbed hugging her face to his chest.
His cry was filled in the surrounding. None came there to look them nor anyone paid attention at the innocent cry of that innocent soul who no longer left naive and innocent after that incident.
"MAA!!"
A man jerked up on the bed as he sat straight with a blank face, sweat buds forming on his forehead while his eyes red and wet with tears.
He checked his surrounding and realised it was a nightmare. AGAIN.
He pushed the covers and got inside the walking closet then pulling out a towel got inside the washroom to get freshen up.
After half an hour he stepped outside wearing a dusky black trousers and a crisp white shirt. He got before the mirror and put on the cufflinks then the tie and finally got ready.
"Aayansh!"
A call came and he turned around. His handsome face holding a small smile which only forms at her call. His only lifeline. His grandmother.
"Nani? Why did you come upstairs? I was just coming." He sweetly scolded her while helping her to walk. She slowly took steps with her stick then sat on the couch.
Ayansh bent before her and sat near her feet. She affectionately cupped his cheeks and kissed on his forehead.
"Happy birthday Ayu?" His eyes got misty at the name and he put his head on her lap.
Suhasini devi ruffled his hair and smiled. "You have grown up so much. It was like yesterday my little Ayu had come to me and now suddenly he has turned 30." She chuckled remembering her naughty grandson.
"But you are aging like a fine wine." He complimented back and she hitted his arms making him chuckle little.
It was a cute conversation between the granny and grandson. The only place where arrogant Ayansh Randhawa turns the loving Ayu, only for his granny. Or else his one glare was enough to get everything done then whoever it is.

"Hey Mr. Handsome!"
A girl approached him with a deep seductive voice.
His eyes glared at her before he ignored her and walked to his car.
"Ayansh__" She called his name and touched his hand which got shrugged up in seconds.
"DON'T TOUCH ME!!"
She was terrified with the voice but then it has to be after all he just hates girls specially of her types.
Nafrat hai mujhe tum jaisi batkirdar ladkiyon se. Ghinn aati hai mujhe jab tum jaise log aas paas bhi hote ho aur tumne toh mujhe haath lagane ki himmat ki hai. Naa maa-baap ka pata na khandan ka aur mujhe apne jaal mein fasane ki jururat kar rahi ho?"
(I hate characterless girls like you. I hate when people like you roam around me and you dared to touch me. Neither you know about parents nor the clan and thinking to trap me?)
She chocked when he tightly squeezed her neck with his palm. His nerves popped up on the neck and furry dancing in his eyes.
Putting some mercy on that girl he left her and stepped two feet back.
"WHORES LIKE YOU CAN STOOP TO ANY HEIGHTS FOR MONEY. BLOODY GOLD DIGGER."
He spat the words on her and got inside the car. The driver hurried up and drove the car from there.

Far from his dark world in a small house a thin & small figure was laying on the short sized bed. Her face was calm like anywhere with a beautiful smile on there.
She recognised her mother's touch and opened her eyes welcoming a new morning with her mother before her eyes.
"Shweta what is this? Again you are late? Get up sweety, you have a college to attend."
Radhika panicked but in returns got a loving hug from her daughter. She pecked on her cheek and gave a heart warming smile.
"Don't worry Maa. I won't be late."
"Why would you? After all shweta's brother is there to drop her at college on time." Both the mother-daughter smiled at the masculine voice.
Raghav made his entry and smashed on his sister's head.
"Lazy head now get freshen up or your lovely mami will start a Mahabharat again."
She giggled with her brother while the elderly woman glared at both of them. Shweta dramatically actioned her finger to seal her own lips and ran inside the washroom.
"Why do you panick a lot Bua? I'm here for you both, don't worry and chill!" He tried to make her relax to which she sighed.
"Life isn't in my favour son. It always demand something precious from me. Already bhai-bhabhi are against shweta's education and due to her laziness they will get a chance to taunt her. I don't want a life like me for shweta. I want her to stand on her own by taking higer education."
Raghav shook his head and placed a palm on his aunt's cheek.
"Do you think I will let anything wrong happen with my little one? Forget all the worries Bua! I'm there for her and you." She smiled wiping her tears.

"Where are you going?"
A voice came hulting her steps in between. She gulped down the saliva and turned back with a fearful expression on her face.
"Mami! I__i am going to college. M__my exams__are in few days so i__have to collect notes."
"No need of that! Go there's a lot of work in kitchen, complete that." Sadhna said with not so good expression.
Shweta's face fell and she looked at her mother with tears in her eyes.
"Shweta is going to college, if you have work then do it by yourself maa or bua with do it and if still you need help then ask disha, her vacations are going on so she is free." Raghav sternly stated passing a assuring nod to radhika.
"Let's go chotu!" He lovingly told before taking her with him.
"What have you done with my son? You manipulated him completely that now he doesn't listen to his own mother." Sadhna yelled with a disgusted look.
"People like you can do only this. Don't know what wrong deed we had done. Already society spats on us due to your illegitimate affairs and illegitimate daughter. I will soon find a boy for this girl and throw her out of my house. We don't even want your shadow on our children."
Radhika's eyes moistened. She lowered her head and went inside the kitchen. It had become a part of her life. None let her and her daughter live in peace.
Was it her mistake to love someone? If she knew that he will leave her then never she would had belived Or loved someone.
